Drainage Issues - and Town Hall meeting
The Board has been in discussion with the City of Sumrall about the drainage problems. The City has hired an Engineer, and plans have been approved to repave the streets and address the culvert at the intersection of The Oaks Drive and Spanish Oaks. However, we as Homeowners should make it a priority, if possible, to be present for the town hall meetings. The next one is Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 6:30pm.
Thanks to our Pool Committee
We have experienced several hurdles with equipment failures this summer. Without the tireless efforts of this group, especially Mr. Jerry Ford, who knows where we would be?

Boats in The Oaks
Boats and Property Value
Many have mentioned the abundance of boats popping up around The Oaks. Unfortunately, these are in violation with the subdivision’s Covenants (see Article 10,Section 5; see below). Realtors have approached the Board noting that this diminishes the appearance and the value of the homes in the subdivision. Boats should be removed by August 30 in order to avoid fines or penalties.
SECTION 5. TRUCKS, BOATS, MOBILE HOME TRAILERS, OTHER VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY BUILDINGS No truck or vehicle exceeding one (1) ton shall be stored or parked on any Lot, Common Area or other area at any time. All automobiles owned or used by Owners or occupants, other than temporary guests and visitors, shall, as far as possible, be parked in enclosures which screen the automobile from street view. No temporary building structure, mobile home or house trailer shall be moved upon or otherwise placed or permitted upon any Lot or Common Area. Recreational Vehicles, including boats, may be parked on any Lot on which a residence has been constructed provided they are kept on private driveway or inside an enclosed building or area.
